What Is The Function Of Automobile Air Conditioning Condenser?

The function of the condenser is to transform the high temperature and high pressure gaseous refrigerant sent by the compressor into liquid refrigerant, and the refrigerant dissipates heat in the condenser and changes its state. Therefore, the condenser is a heat exchanger, and the heat absorbed by the refrigerant in the car is emitted to the atmosphere through the condenser.

The condenser of a small car is usually installed in the front of the car (generally installed in front of the radiator) and cooled by a fan (the condenser fan is generally shared with the radiator fan, and some models use a dedicated condenser fan).

Classification of automobile air conditioning condenser

The condenser of automobile air conditioning has three kinds of structure forms: tube sheet type, tube belt type and parallel flow type.

1. Tube and sheet condenser

The manufacturing process is simple and the heat dissipation efficiency is low.

2. Pipe and belt condenser

The heat sink is a composite sheet, a total of three pieces, the upper and lower sheet material is aluminum, and contains si, etc. The heat transfer efficiency of this condenser can be increased by 15% ~ 20% than the tube sheet type.

3. Parallel flow condenser

The biggest difference between the parallel flow condenser and the tubular belt condenser is that the tubular belt condenser has only one flat tube that bends in a snake shape from beginning to end, and the refrigerant only flows in this channel for heat exchange. The parallel flow condenser is connected with multiple flat tubes between two collecting tubes, and the refrigerant is circulated through multiple flat tubes at the same time for heat exchange.
