Dimensions and layers of copper tubes for wire tube condenser

Copper tube dimensions and layers

Copper pipe size

Outer diameter: The outer diameter of condenser copper pipe usually has a variety of sizes, such as 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, etc., of which 8mm and 10mm are the most common outer diameters. These different outer diameters are suitable for different application scenarios.

Wall thickness: The wall thickness of condenser copper pipe is usually 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm and other different thickths. When choosing copper pipe wall thickness, it is necessary to consider the working pressure and application environment. In general, 0.6mm and 0.7mm wall thickness sizes are the most commonly used and can meet most application requirements.

The number of copper pipe layers

Copper pipe with diameter less than or equal to 3mm: the number of layers should not exceed three layers.

Copper pipe with diameter greater than 3mm but less than or equal to 8mm: the number of layers should not exceed five layers.

Copper pipe with diameter greater than 8mm but less than or equal to 22mm: the number of layers should not exceed seven layers.

Copper pipe with diameter greater than 22mm but less than or equal to 100mm: the number of layers should not exceed ten layers.

Noted

The actual number of layers also needs to be determined according to the specific design, structure and working conditions of the condenser.
