Lightweight: Compared to traditional copper pipes, aluminum pipes are lighter in weight. This lightweight feature is very favorable for the overall weight of the evaporator, which can reduce the weight of the whole machine and improve the portability of the equipment.


Good thermal conductivity: Aluminum is a metal with good thermal conductivity. Although the thermal conductivity of aluminum is about 200W/mK, slightly lower than the 400W/mK of copper, the density of aluminum is only 1/3 of that of copper. Therefore, the heat conduction performance of the aluminum tube is relatively good, and the heat can be transferred to the surrounding air more quickly.


Strong corrosion resistance: aluminum pipe has good corrosion resistance. Aluminum will generate a layer of aluminum oxide film in the air, protecting the internal aluminum will not continue to oxidize, so the antioxidant capacity of aluminum is very strong. This corrosion resistance makes the service life of the aluminum tube in the evaporator longer and is not susceptible to corrosion.


Maintain efficient heat transfer efficiency: The evaporator aluminum tube has a high internal surface area and film structure, which can more effectively improve the transmission speed and movement strength of the material, so that its heat transfer efficiency is higher. In addition, the material of the aluminum tube can also ensure that there will be no dirt in the heat exchange pipe, further improving the efficiency of heat exchange.


Cost advantage: Compared with the evaporator made of copper or stainless steel, the evaporator aluminum tube material cost is lower. This cost advantage is also one of the reasons why it is widely used.
