What is the difference between finned condenser and evaporator

What is the difference between a condenser and an evaporator? First of all, the condenser and evaporator are heat exchange equipment, but the condenser is a heat-releasing part, and the evaporator is a heat-absorbing part. Both are indispensable components in refrigeration equipment. Let's look at the difference between a condenser and an evaporator.
Both condensers and evaporators are heat exchangers. The so-called heat exchange refers to the equipment that transmits heat between two or more fluids with different temperatures, so it is also called heat exchange equipment. Therefore, although the structure of the condenser and evaporator is different, their working principle is the same. They are all devices for heat exchange between the refrigerant and the external medium flowing through the surface of the container, that is, they are all heat exchangers. From the point of view of the factors affecting heat transfer, the condenser and evaporator are the same, and their heat transfer is closely related to the heat transfer area, heat transfer temperature difference and heat transfer coefficient.
Condensers and evaporators work differently. The condenser cools and liquefies the medium and releases the heat to the outside; The evaporator is a medium that absorbs heat, vaporizes and absorbs external heat, that is, the refrigerant changes from gas to liquid. This is a condensing and exothermic process where the internal pressure is usually very high; The refrigerant in the evaporator changes from a liquid to a gas, which is an evaporation and endothermic process, and its internal pressure is usually low.
Condenser is one of the main heat transfer equipment in refrigeration equipment. Its function is to cool and condense the refrigerant superheated steam discharged from the refrigerator into refrigerant liquid, and release heat in the cooling medium. The common cooling media are water and air.

Evaporator is the equipment for the heat exchange between refrigerant and low temperature heat source in refrigeration system. It is also one of the main heat exchange equipment in the refrigeration unit. In the evaporator, the refrigerant liquid evaporates at low pressure and low temperature, absorbs the heat of the cooled medium, and becomes the refrigerant dry saturated gas or superheated steam at low temperature and low pressure, thus generating and output cooling capacity in the refrigeration system. The evaporator is located between the chiller throttle valve and the main return pipe or between the liquid supply and return pipe of the vapor-liquid separation equipment, and is installed in a cold room or a place that needs cooling and freezing.
Evaporator and condenser are important components of refrigeration equipment. Only through the endothermic/exothermic reaction of these two parts can the refrigeration equipment work properly.
As a heat-absorbing element, the evaporator uses the volatilization characteristics of the liquid low-temperature refrigerant under low pressure to convert into steam, absorb the heat of the cooled medium, and achieve the purpose of refrigeration. From the structure can be divided into box type, tube type, plate and other different types.
As a heat release component, the condenser can convert the high-temperature and high-pressure gas refrigerant compressed by the compressor into low-temperature and high-pressure liquid, which radiates heat to the outside world. It is absorbed and released with the evaporator, thus achieving thermal insulation. From the structure can be divided into shell type, sleeve type, plate type, spray type and other different types.
