What is a parallel flow heat exchanger and what are its characteristics?

The parallel flow condenser is mainly composed of porous flat tube and corrugated shutter fin. The two ends have a flow collector, which can be divided into multiple parallel flow and unit parallel flow according to the flow collector. The collector tube of unit type is not interrupted, and the direction of refrigerant flow is consistent; Multi-type, there are septum breaks in the collection pipe, and the number of tubes in each section is different.
Its biggest feature is efficient heat transfer, compact structure.
At present, it is mainly used for automotive air conditioning, but now there are also related studies for household air conditioning and even heat pump units. Moreover, if the diameter of the flat tube in the parallel flow heat exchanger is small (generally less than 1mm), it belongs to a micro-channel heat exchanger, and its heat transfer performance has changed significantly.
