How a frost-free evaporator works
Leave a message
Frost-free evaporators are important components in refrigeration systems that operate at temperatures slightly below 0 ° C, so there is no frost on the evaporator. Occasionally before the compressor is shut down, the evaporator may form a thin layer of frost, but this frost will quickly melt during the shutdown. The operating temperature of the frost-free evaporator is 0.5 ° C to 1 ° C, however, the temperature of the refrigerant in the evaporator can reach -7 ° C to -6 ° C. Because they are not fully frosted, they absorb only a small amount of moisture inside the box.
The working principle of the frost-free evaporator is to use the phase change process of the refrigerant to evaporate the low-temperature and low-pressure liquid refrigerant into a high-temperature and high-pressure gas, so as to absorb heat and achieve the refrigeration effect. It can be divided into four steps: first, the evaporator absorbs external heat, so that the liquid refrigerant evaporates into a gas; Then, the liquid refrigerant is converted into a gas in the evaporator, which continues to absorb heat; Then, the compressor compresses the gas in the evaporator into high temperature and high pressure gas; Finally, the high temperature and high pressure gas releases heat in the condenser, condenses into a liquid, and circulates back through the refrigerant to the evaporator for endothermic vaporization again.
Frost-free evaporators are widely used in many fields such as industrial refrigeration, chemical industry, agriculture and pharmaceutical industry. In the field of refrigeration, it is one of the core components of the refrigeration system, which can achieve efficient cooling effects. In the chemical process, the evaporator can be used to evaporate the water in the solution to achieve separation, concentration and purification. In agricultural processes, evaporators can be used to heat irrigation water, increase soil temperature and humidity, and promote plant growth. In the pharmaceutical industry, evaporators are indispensable equipment in the production process of pharmaceuticals and can be used to concentrate, separate and purify various pharmaceutical raw materials.
