Aluminum tube copper tube evaporator difference

Aluminum tube and copper tube evaporator are two common evaporator types, and their differences mainly lie in the material and performance aspects.

Aluminum tube evaporators are usually made of aluminum, which has a lower weight and lower cost. Because aluminum has good thermal conductivity, aluminum tube evaporators can transfer heat quickly and usually have high heat transfer efficiency. However, because the material of aluminum is relatively soft, the corrosion resistance and durability of aluminum tube evaporator is not as good as that of copper tube evaporator.

Copper tube evaporator is usually made of copper, with higher strength and better corrosion resistance. The copper tube evaporator not only has a long service life, but also is not easy to have problems such as water leakage during use. However, the cost of copper tube evaporator is relatively high, and the thermal conductivity of copper is poor, so it takes a longer time to transfer heat.

Aluminum tube evaporator and copper tube evaporator have advantages and disadvantages, and need to be considered according to the specific use and demand when choosing.
