Lightweight：Due to its compact structure and manufacture primarily from aluminum alloy (also available in steel, copper, composite materials, etc.), it has a lightweight design.

Strong Adaptability：It is suitable for heat exchange between various fluids such as gas-gas, gas-liquid, and liquid-liquid, as well as phase change heat exchange involving changes in aggregate state. Through the arrangement and combination of flow channels, it can adapt to different heat exchange conditions such as countercurrent, crosscurrent, multicomponent flow, and multipass flow.

Complex Manufacturing Process：Due to its complex structure, the manufacturing process requires strict precision, necessitating high-precision machining and brazing techniques.

Difficult Maintenance：It is prone to clogging and not corrosion-resistant, making cleaning and inspection difficult. Therefore, it can only be used in situations where the heat exchange medium is clean, non-corrosive, and not prone to fouling, deposition, or clogging.
